Provincial Workshop on Alternative Care: A consolidated report of Gandaki, Bagmati and Koshi Provinces

SOS Children's Villages Nepal and the National Child Rights Council Nepal (NCRC) organised the "Provincial Workshops on Alternative Care of Children: Contemporary Situation and Challenges" in Gandaki, Bagmati, and Koshi Provinces. The provincial workshops aimed to engage stakeholders in addressing challenges and involving them in discussions about potential opportunities to strengthen children’s rights to alternative care, with a focus on the roles of government, stakeholders, beneficiaries, and care providers.

The Nepali Calendar 2081 B.S. (Bikram Sambat) is a traditional lunar-solar calendar widely used in Nepal. It begins in mid-April 2024 and ends in mid-April 2025 in the Gregorian calendar. बाल अधिकार सम्बन्धी महासन्धि

बाल अधिकार सम्बन्धी महासन्धि (Convention on the Rights of the Child) बालबालिकाका हक अधिकार सुनिश्चित गर्न संयुक्त राष्ट्रसंघले सन् १९८९ मा पारित गरेको एक अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय सन्धि हो। यसले प्रत्येक बालकलाई जीवन, शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, संरक्षण, र भागीदारीका अधिकार प्रदान गर्न सबै सदस्य राष्ट्रहरूलाई कानुनी रूपमा बाध्यकारी बनाउँछ। नेपालले यस महासन्धिलाई सन् १९९० मा अनुमोदन गरेको हो।
