“Hard work always pays off”- Inspector Subash Singh

Subash was just one-and-half years old when he was placed in a wonderful nurturing home in SOS Children's Village Gandaki. Today, Subash is Inspector Subash Singh of Nepal Armed Police Force (APF) Hospital, and he is determined to serve the community. Subash says that he feels fortunate to have been brought to SOS Children's Village Gandaki, where he shared a special affection and unique bonding with his mother, family members, and friends.

SOS Child Club Pokhara: A champion for change

September 15 2022 - SOS Children's Village Pokhara introduced SOS Child Club Pokhara in 2010 with the objective of providing a platform where the children can develop and enhance their leadership skills and capacity. The club also focuses on encouraging children to speak up against any issues they come across and report to the relevant authority including the issues related to child safeguarding.

Launch of Nepali translation of ‘The Guidelines for the Alternative Care of Children’

August 17 2022 - On July 10, 2022, SOS Children's Villages Nepal, in coordination with Child Care Homes Network Nepal (CNET Nepal) and Care Leavers Association Nepal (CLAN) and in solidarity with National Action and Coordinating Group Nepal (NACG Nepal), organized a program to launch Nepali translation of ‘The Guidelines for the Alternative Care of Children.’
