January 25 2026 - Laxmi received support from the Family Strengthening Programme of SOS Children’s Village Dhangadhi to start a small shop. That opportunity not only helped her become financially independent but also gave her the confidence to take on a leadership role in her community. Today, she is the Vice Chairperson of Gramin Samudaya Kalyan Manch, a Community Based Organisation working to strengthen families and support children.
