SOS Children’s Villages Nepal is implementing the “Promoting Educational Resilience of Schools on Equitable Access to Education” project in six community schools within Bharatpur Metropolitan City. Running from June 2022 to May 2025, this initiative aims to address the educational setbacks caused by COVID-19.

Transforming lives: Durga Bahadur’s journey to self-sufficiency

Durga Bahadur received support from SOS Children’s Village Gandaki, including educational aid for his son and livelihood assistance. With this help, he expanded his goat farming, renovated sheds, and participated in micro-entrepreneurship training. Durga now plans to open a grocery store and aims to provide his son with a better education and future.
