After the earthquake, Nepal government immediately banned the movement of children from one district to another with the risk of child trafficking in the critical situation. As a result, SOS Nepal could not admit some of the needy children in SOS Families those who belong to other districts. Finally, SOS Nepal dared to care these children through Kinship Care Programme as an innovation.
