In February 1995, SOS YOUTH FACILITY was established in a separate rented apartment at the centre of the city and 8 boys were transferred there. Boys have been formally shifted into its own facility at Koteshwor in 2008 which can accommodate 18 youths at a time. It has a separate flat for the hostel in-charge. In the same premises a separate house has been built for the retired mothers that can accommodate four mothers. Similarly, a new youth facility has been setup in a rented house at the centre of the city for the grownup girls in 2005. This facility can accommodate nine girls at a time. There is a separate provision for the accommodation for the hostel in-charge within the hostel.
