| Working with the Word “Aamako Ghar” |
| 2012 June 23 |
Our Club is always there to implement the new ideas and suggestions on various works. It strengthens the club and diversifies the capacity for various projects.
We are getting support from the local community for our Village's noble cause. “AAMAKO GHAR” is a suburban house named by the owners as 'the mother's home' to pay homage and respect to the mother.
We decided to visit the place which is a bit far from our Village. On visiting the house, we found out that the signboard “AAMAKO GHAR” was blurred due to rain, dust and sun light. |

Aasha Baral, a member of Child Club said, "Aama (mother) is the most important word among the four principles of SOS. We must preserve it all the way". She added, "It is a bit difficult to visit there with my wheelchair. But, we did it! Where there is a will, there is a way."The bond with the Village and the children is very important. Thus we showed our interest to paint the faded letters in the signboard that was approved with smiles.
'While painting these faded letters I felt as if I was painting the Eiffel tower.' added Ramesh Rawat, the president of Child Club. 'We would like to thank our guardians who gave us this chance to respect our donor by valuing their feelings'. |
