Pitamber Pandey and Muna Kafle, two seventh graders bagged Gold Medals in 3 KM Road Race and Pyramid Race respectively. Samit Shrestha, Bharat Shrestha, Suraj Pyakurel and Aditya Pulami won Gold Medals in 100×4 Relay Race that won the attention of everyone in the Meet. Anita Sharma from class 8 stood second in 800 M Race and Sampurna Shrestha from class 9 stood second in Shot-put. “It is our collective effort that paid us.”, said Samit Shrestha who had been awarded the Best Athlete of the Meet.

Expressing complete satisfaction with the potentials and the performance of the children, the School Principal Mr. Ganga B Gurung congratulated the jubilant athletes and emphasized on the importance of all-round development of each and every child. “Just a week before the second terminal examinations and without adequate preparations, we were on the field. It was really a Herculean task but our children proved to be different on the crowd.” ECA Head Jagadish Dhakal said. Team coach Santa Lal Pradhan who accompanied the athletic panel throughout the meet exclaimed that he was quite taken aback by the performance of the students.
