SOS Youth Facility Biratnagar is the ancillary facility run under SOS Children’s Village Itahari. It supports the youths brought up under SOS Children’s Village Itahari for their successful integration |
SOS Youth Facility Biratnagar was established in March 2001 in two different locations (Malaya Road and Bhupalgram) at Biratnagar. This facility was inaugurated by Late Princess Sharada Shah. The boys Facility which is located at Malaya road can accommodate 24 boys at a time and the girls Facility which is located at Bhupalgram, can accommodate 21 girls. Both facilities (boys and girls) have a flat for its in-charge. |
| The youths are transferred from SOS Children’s Village Itahari after they complete their SLC exam. Most of the youths are studying from Higher Secondary Level to Masters Level at different parts of the country. |
